Applications are invited from the recently retired Deputy Librarian / Librarian for the following post purely on a contract basis for a period of six months which is extendable for further period as per requirement and suitability of the candidate:

Educational Qualification and Experience:

1. Post Graduate Degree in Library Science with Ph.D. 

2. Recently retired from a College/University Library as a Dy Librarian/Librarian.

3. Working knowledge in Open and Distance Learning systems.

Job profile

- Proper storage of books of SOL Library 

- Stock Verification and Weeding out old books

- Purchase of books, pay bills, etc

- Development of e-Library, Automation of SOL Library & implementation of KOHA 

- Advice and guide the Incharge, Library SOL on various Library relates matters

- Any other duties assigned by the Competent Authority during office hours

Consultation Fee/ Remuneration

The consultant fee/remuneration will be paid between Rs.60.000-90,000 depending on the qualification, experience, and suitability of the candidate for SOL Library.
