The Central Library of the National Institute of Science Education & Research (NISER) is planning to recruit Library Professional Trainees (LPT) and Library Apprentices (LA). The selected candidates will get hands-on experience working in different sections of the Library. The LA are recruited under the guideline of the Board of Practical and Training (BoPT) (East Region), Kolkata.

Pay Scale:	Consolidated stipend of Rs. 18,000/- per month with no additional perk.
Age Limit:	26 years as of the last date of online form submission
Educational Qualification:	Essential Qualification: First class in Master of Library and Information Science (MLISc) from a recognized Indian Universities/ Institute. Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of computer applications in the library.

Educational Qualification:	Essential Qualification: Bachelor of Library & Information Science (BLISc) from a recognized Indian Universities/Institute and passed out after January 2020. Desirable Qualification: Science graduates with computer proficiency will be given a preference
