Applications are invited for the post of Librarian (Library Information Assistant) by Transfer on a Deputation (including short-term contract) basis.

Pay Scale:	Level-6 in the pay matrix (Rs.35,400-1,12,400/-)
Age Limit:	Not exceeding 56 year
Educational Qualification:	(a) The Officer holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre or Department of Central Government/ State Government / Union Territories A.tron- Government bodies e.g. Universities, Research Institutions, and Public Sector undertakings.  or With 5 years of service rendered irritant Librarian (Library Clerk) after appointment to the post on a regular basis in Level -2 in the pay matrix (Rs.19,900 -63,200) in the parent cadre or Department of Central Government/ State Government / Union Territories A'{on-' Government bodies e.g. Universities, Research Institutions and Public Sector undertakings.  (b) The Departmental officials in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on Transfer on Deputation (including Short term contract).  (c) Similarly, the deputation shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.
