Applications are hereby invited from eligible candidates for filling up the following posts:

Post Name:	Library & Information Officer (LIO)  by Deputation basis

Pay Scale:	Pay Matrix Level-11 of Rs. 67,700-2,08,700/-
Age Limit:	--
Educational Qualification:	Officers of the Central or State Government or UTs or Autonomous or Statutory Bodies or Public Sector Undertakings/Universities or recognized Research or Educational Institutes; (a) Holding analogous post on a regular basis, OR with 05 years of regular service in posts in pay level-9 (Rs. 53,100 -1,67,800) or 7 years service in posts in the pay level - 7 (Rs. 44,900 - 1,42,400) or equivalent; and Possessing the educational qualifications & experience laid down for direct recruits in RRs are as under:- Essentials:- i) Master's Degree in Library Science or Library & Information Science of a recognized University /Institute or equivalent. ii) 5 Years professional experience in a supervisory capacity in a Library under Central/State Government/Autonomous or Statutory organization/PSU/University or Recognized Research or Educational Institution. Desirable:- i) One year experience of in computerizing Library activities.  ii) Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized University or Institute. Note: The qualification regarding experience is relaxable at the discretion of the Competent Authority for reasons to be recorded in the writing, in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes if at any stage of selection, the Competent Authority is of the opinion that sufficient numbers of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the posts reserved for them.
